Created as a welcoming stop for Appalachian Trail adventurers, we’ve always been dedicated to offering an exceptional experience for every guest who walks through our doors.
Whether you prefer the cozy simplicity of our Hostel or the comfort and charm of our Bed & Breakfast, our commitment is the same: to take great care of you. Guests enjoy a wide range of services—from convenient shuttle rides to Carver’s Gap for hikers to mouthwatering Famous Burgers served fresh from our Food Truck.
And of course, no stay is complete without our World Famous Breakfast—a guest favorite that warms the heart as much as it satisfies the appetite.

Mountain Harbour Hiker Hostel Rebuild After Helene
Mountain Harbour’s beloved Hiker Hostel is currently undergoing a full rebuild after the significant damage caused by Hurricane Helene. While the storm left its mark, our commitment to the Appalachian Trail community remains stronger than ever. Construction is already underway, and we are working hard to create a safer, stronger, and even more welcoming space for hikers in the seasons ahead. The rebuilt hostel will continue the tradition of comfort, hospitality, and world-famous service that Mountain Harbour is known for—offering hikers a renewed place to rest, recharge, and feel at home on the trail. Updates will be shared as progress continues, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back once the new hostel is complete.
